Blessings

Man I have said this a few times, but as we can see I have not been posting. But I am on leave this week and next and I am going to attempt to post and catch up on the life of us over the last 18 months.

It truly has been amazing and the blessings are too many too count. But sitting here at home this morning watching Robyn and mine's new bundle of Joy, Zoe. Wacthing her change, the emotions, the reactions and how she responds to Robyn & myself, makes me realise how blessed we truly are.

He has risen!

The Lord has risen, He has risen indeed!
May you all be blessed this easter as we celebrate the death & resurection of our Lord Jesus Christ, as we celebrate what the Lord our God did for us, something that none of us can & ever will understand. That, as it says in John 3v16, "for the Lord loved us so much that He sent His one & only begotten son to die for us, so for whoever should believe in Him will have eternal, everlasting life".

God bless all as we celebrate.

Bouncing back

Wow it has been a while. So much has happened in our lives since we last blogged. All I can say though is God has had is hand in it the whole time.

To explain everything right now will take forever, however what can be said is that our lives have changed over the last 12 to 18 months. Rob's & I have had work changes, our awesome nephew Keenan moving in with us, Robyn working for our church (Eastside Community Church) as the childrens ministry director, us having an awesome month in America over december & january, my swimmers competing at the major competitions for the season & doing well & much much more.

All in all the balls have been bouncing and the ball has kept & will keep on rolling. The next few weeks and months will be once again extremely busy, so I will try & keep us up to date.
God Bless

Book Review Corner

Holy Discontent - Bill Hybels

The author challenges us to say what is our / my Holy Discontent. What is that thing that you just feel I must do something about, at whatever the cost! He uses the example of a Mother Theresa in India, a Martin Luther King who said I cant stand for racism and inequality any more.

What did I take from this book? Well what is my Holy Discontent? What is that thing that drives me deep to the core and at whatever cost I must do!
